  1. World Building - Is the world of the book worth spending time in?

  2. Characters - Am I able to connect with the characters, or find them interesting?

  3. Plot - Is the plot engaging and does it leave me wanting more?

After the shock of meeting the Fates in the previous book, I was able to go with the flow here as new Fates, new fated objects, and new fated places were introduced. Both girls have their own journeys in this book, and where they each end up was very surprising.

I was really annoyed in the beginning of this story because Tella does not start out as a likable character. But, as the story unfolds, you really come to understand why she is the way she is. Her attitude is her armor, and underneath it all I believe that she just wants to be loved.
