I have been an avid reader for all of my life. Every morning I spend at least an hour with a warm cup of coffee, and 1 - 8 books in my reading stack, and a bunch of ferrets in my lap. If I don’t start every day with good coffee and a good book, watch out!

I started Kris Reviews to share my love of reading fantasy books, and find others like me. I thrive on exploring the worlds within the pages of a book. My reviews are designed to be short, concise, and able to be and understood by readers of all ages. I want to give all readers a quick and easy way to decide what books they want to read, encourage readers to try new books, or to revisit beloved tales.

Reading brings me joy when I am sad, gives me an escape into a magical world when I am bored, and provides companionship when I am lonely. I want to share my love of reading with you, and inspire you to share your love of reading with me. While I have read many different types of literature over the years, I always end up returning to my favorite genre - fantasy.

I live in New York with my husband, step-daughter, and five rescue ferrets. Prior to starting this site, I spent years working in corporate offices in many different industries including Retail, Food & Beverage, and Hospitality. In addition to reading, I also love watching movies, playing video games, and spending time with my family - humans and fur babies alike.
