I read a lot of Fantasy Books (with the occasional historical fiction and thrilled thrown in), therefore my reviews are generally based on 3 things:
World Building - Is the world of the book worth spending time in?
Characters - Am I able to connect with the characters, or find them interesting?
Plot - Is the plot engaging and does it leave me wanting more?
The Name of the Wind
Another unique aspect of this tale is how it handles magic. Here it’s called “Sympathy”, and it’s a very unique take on how magic works. I found the concept of sympathy fascinating, and I really felt like it was something I could learn, if only I had the right books.
