The Power

The Power has a unique writing style as a book within a book. It’s presented as being written 5,000 years in the future, about our current time where of nowhere, women suddenly find themselves able to wield electric power. At first glance this sounds awesome right? Wrong! Like all groups of people, women are not all one thing. All women are different, and the women in this book use their powers in different ways, not always benevolent.

This book is crazy in so many ways… crazy violent, crazy vulgar, crazy sexual…. There is a lot of abuse is this book, so it’s not for the feint of heart. Some of the abuse depicted actually gave me chills because of what’s going on in our world today. But I guess that’s the point… abuse will always happen, and will continue to happen, because there will always those who have power, and those who do not. As the well known proverb goes “Absolute Power, Absolutely Corrupts”. Power can always be used for evil by those who have it, because once released, it cannot be called back.
